GONG XI FA CAI

happy chinese new year to everybody..
may this year brings a lot of happiness and prosperity..
talking about prosperity..
the one thing i like most about Chinese New Year rather than the one week break is the PROSPERITY BURGER!!
it's the most delicious burger in the world..
back in KB, almost every week, i will buy one.. until the promotion is over..
fuuuhh.. i miss that.. looking at the pics just makes my mouth melt.. huuuu~



anyhow.. today.. my brother is heading back to Ireland after spending approximately 2months in Malaysia.. just saw the pics in my mother's fb upon his departure..
i can feel that feeling of seeing u love go..
it's like go! go! reach for the stars! but... can't u stay here for a little bit longer... hmmm..

ford primary school

last Thursday, i went to FORD PRIMARY SCHOOL in Plymouth..
it's basically a school-based experience where we observe the school's environment, the class environment, the teachers and the students..
everything that you need to know about being a future teacher..

it wasn't my first time being there..
we did the sbe program for 5weeks last year..
for me, i like the first visit there rather than this one..
this time, i got a class that is very noisy and not approachable..
the last time i was there, the students were so friendly and cute too.. ^_^

anyhow, we observe the classroom to complete a task that we need to do for our assignment..
erkkk!! assignment..
FARAH! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

eventhough, i stayed at the school from 0900-1530.. it was still interesting.. huhu~

birmingham

u must think i have forgotten about all the places i've went during winter trip, right???
hehe.. nope, i didn't.

birmingham...
it's the place where my seserian friend is studying..
we stayed at her house... fuh, her flat was comfortable.. i should say it's very convenient.. small but convenient..
well, birmingham is a beautiful place.
that's the only place that i've seen a lot of halal food restaurant..
and i was grateful for that.. and there, it has the biggest shopping complex in UK (i think) called BULL RING.
wow, it was tiring.. but happy, coz i did a little bit of shopping while 'washing the eye'.. hahaha..
it was said that there are churces that have been turned into mosques..
so, i was hoping to see that.. however, my friend acting as our tour guide didn't know the way to go there..
thus, we just went shopping..
oh ya, we went to German Market and i rode the Merry Go Round..
felt like a little girl again.. hik3..





we also went to a so-called Malaysian Restaurant..
we ordered teh tarik as the food there was not halal (Malaysian Restaurant la sangattt)
yet, the waitress was very rude to us as we just ordered drinks and not food..
fuhhhh.. takle blahhh!!! she made faces in front of us.... like they don't know Malaysian culture that we like to drink and lepak2.. however, the tea was not nice at all but expensive! ceh~

forget about her. anyhow, i did have a great time in birmingham.. hoping to go there again..
